Assembler/Stacker (Aerospace) 2nd Shift (Afternoon-Evening)

TAT Limco in Tulsa, OK is looking for skilled Assemblers/Stackers for our Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) core production.

Responsibilities

  • Build cores by reading instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc.
  • Ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product
  • Use hands and hand tools to delicately build the cores with great precision
  • Align, straighten, and press the cores in a fixture in preparation for braze after assembly
  • Ability to perform repetitive daily functions

Afternoon shift works 3pm to 11:30 pm Monday to Friday and/or some weekend shifts available too

Shift work receives an additional, hourly shift differential

Requirements

  • Ability to successfully use a variety of basic hand tools
  • Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, assembly and schematic drawings
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Ability to use micrometer, caliper, tape measure, and other measuring devises
  • Ability to assemble and adjust delicate piece parts to produce quality cores that meet all standards
  • Ability to closely examine parts and cores for any defects and report any defects to supervisor without delay
  • Ability to perform assembly in a clean room environment requiring gloves
  • Ability to work second shift hours detailed above

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read or learn to read blueprints
  • Mechanical ability with proven experience as assembler
  • Ability to work 6:30 am to 3:00 pm during training
  • Ability to work 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm after training period
  • Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
  • Maintain high level of focus for long periods of time
  • Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers
