Remuneration: £80,000-£100,000 + Bonus and Commission
Benefits: £600 per month car allowance & benefits

Role Overview:

The Sales Director - Low Voltage Circuit Protection Devices will be responsible for leading a small field sales team, developing sales and marketing strategies, and building relationships within the electrical industry to promote and sell low voltage circuit protection products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and develop a team of two electrical wholesale field sales professionals, with immediate recruitment of two specification field sales staff.
  2. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies in collaboration with the Managing Director.
  3. Support the existing team in selling a range of low voltage circuit protection equipment, including consumer units, main switches, RCBO, MCB, RCD, surge protection devices, and rotary isolator switches.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with electrical contractors, wholesalers, and buying groups, focusing on project specifications and new business opportunities.
  5. Assist in developing pricing systems, regional coverage, and promotional plans.

Candidate Profile:

  • Must have experience in the low voltage circuit protection market.
  • Preferably at a senior level such as Managing Director, Marketing Director, Sales Director, Technical Director, or R&D Director.
  • Open to candidates nearing or past retirement, leveraging extensive industry knowledge.
  • Deep understanding of single-phase and three-phase consumer units.
  • Strong strategic management, negotiation, marketing, and financial skills.
  • Minimum 10 years of sales and marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
  • Established network of industry contacts and a collaborative leadership style.
