Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

Base pay range: $111,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Multi-state).
• 5-10 years of civil design experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Knowledge of industry standards for civil design and illustration.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in preparing project proposals and estimating fees.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead civil site development projects, including scope definition, feasibility studies, design proposals, and reports.
• Review geotechnical reports, site surveys, and specifications.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams, participate in meetings, and oversee project execution.
• Contribute to the civil team's continuous improvement, including setting up design processes and QA/QC checklists.
• Mentor civil designers and technicians.

Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of current design trends and local codes.
• Familiarity with Federal Facility Criteria and Whole Building Design Guide.
• Ability to communicate effectively and accommodate travel as needed.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Additional Information

This position involves leading large multi-disciplinary projects or overseeing multiple smaller projects, with opportunities for regional and national travel.
