Job Title : Director of Maintenance

Location: Tulsa, OK (On-site) – Some Travel Required

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $150,000 annually (paid bi-weekly)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7a-5p

About the Role

Paul Logistics is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Maintenance to lead all aspects of our fleet maintenance operations. From overseeing equipment procurement and telematics systems to driving cost-efficient practices, you'll play a critical role in keeping our flatbed trucking fleet safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on reducing maintenance cost per mile, optimizing uptime, and supporting operational excellence across our transportation network.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all in-house and on-road maintenance operations across the fleet
• Oversee equipment specification and procurement of tractors and trailers
• Monitor and optimize truck telematics to improve fuel efficiency and preventive maintenance
• Drive key cost-reduction initiatives related to maintenance and repairs
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and maintain industry-leading maintenance records
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing maintenance team
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate service contracts, and ensure quality performance
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading maintenance operations in a transportation or logistics environment
• In-depth knowledge of DOT compliance, telematics systems, and fleet maintenance best practices
• Demonstrated ability to reduce operational costs while maintaining fleet reliability
• Strong skills in vendor negotiation and team leadership
• Familiarity with FleetRock or similar fleet management software preferred
