Relate Search has been retained to assist a growing industrial manufacturer in adding an outstanding Director of Manufacturing to their Oklahoma team. This professional will be instrumental in driving the company's success and growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, who can effectively manage P&L, plant operations, and plant production management.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of plant operations and production management, ensuring efficiency and quality in all processes.
2. Manage P&L for mid-size plant and project sites, developing and implementing strategies to maximize profitability.
3. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations and boost productivity.
4. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
5. Collaborate with other departments to align operational activities with business goals.
6. Drive innovation in manufacturing processes, exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance production.
7. Directly manage a team of Managers including Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Warehouse Managers, providing guidance and mentorship to foster their professional development.
8. Establish and monitor performance metrics, taking corrective action as necessary to ensure operational objectives are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of manufacturing operational leadership experience.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial processes (CNC machining, fabrication, etc.).
• Proven experience in managing plant operations and plant production management.
• Demonstrable track record of driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
