Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of account executives to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate and business unit objectives.
  • Accountable for all pipeline generation and bookings activities for the VLN and EVL/HDL sales teams.
  • Ensure consistent, accurate forecasting of monthly bookings, operational costs, profitability, and departmental financial ratios.
  • Communicate financial and operational variances on monthly Business Unit financial review calls.
  • Manage group expenses and quota/commission budgets.
  • Coordinate with Harris Business Unit Controller to align on sales performance and financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and other business units to ensure seamless sales activities.
  • Develop quota and commission plans for sales personnel and foster cross-sell opportunities.
  • Assist account executives in qualifying opportunities and prospects.
  • Oversee all sales activities, ensuring balanced efforts to achieve sales targets.
  • Lead sales team in planning and executing sales strategies and tactics.
  • Present solutions and experience credibly to key client decision makers.
  • Monitor multiple sales cycles and provide guidance accordingly.
  • Handle employee relations, including hiring, coaching, motivating, and training.
  • Manage performance and development of sales team members.
  • Educate team on sales strategies and operational delivery.
  • Evaluate team effectiveness and implement necessary changes.
  • Identify emerging products/services in EdTech/Digital Learning and drive revenue streams.
  • Develop competitive strategies and sales campaigns, including regional trade shows.
  • Prepare and present strategic review decks annually or bi-annually.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Business Unit EVP.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years managing a sales team of 5+ account executives, with successful outcomes.
  • Experience in enterprise sales within the K12 market and/or vertical software highly preferred.
  • Data/metric-driven approach to sales management and financial forecasting is a plus.
  • Excellent written communication skills; concise and comprehensive.
  • Strong presentation skills and high financial numeracy.
  • Business travel as needed (approximately 15-20%).

Salary Expectation

  • $105,000 - $135,000
