Primary Role

The Director of AI – Transportation is a leadership position responsible for defining and implementing HDR's AI strategy within the Transportation Business Group (TBG). The role involves integrating AI solutions into transportation projects, collaborating with leadership and technical teams, and developing AI as a core revenue-generating service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and oversee AI strategy and roadmap for TBG.
2. Lead AI program growth, talent acquisition, and project prioritization.
3. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for AI implementation.
4. Establish AI governance, standards, and best practices.
5. Engage with clients to identify AI opportunities and promote HDR's AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
• At least 5 years of experience delivering AI solutions for transportation projects.
• Proven leadership in AI project teams and industry experience.
• Technical proficiency with AI/ML tools, cloud platforms, and data governance.
