Key Job Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain local relationships with Plan Sponsor clients, including regular on-site visits to discuss ways to improve plan success and promote plan to eligible employees.
  • Coordinate, promote, and present employee education and enrollment meetings, encouraging employees to participate and maximize contributions to their plan.
  • Responsible for increasing plan participation, contribution rates, and asset transfers.
  • Promote plan awareness amongst plan participants and build client satisfaction for newly sold clients and existing clients.
  • Partner and strategize with internal and external business partners to develop presentations that target client needs and align with plan design.
  • Attend and present the value of the EQH Holistic platform experience at point of sale meetings with advisors and plan sponsor prospects.

The base salary for this position is $80,000. This role is eligible for variable compensation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working with Retirement Plans and Financial Advisors.
  • FINRA Series 6 and 63 must be obtained within 180 days.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven success in driving business growth through prepared, concise, and persuasive retirement presentations in a variety of settings.
  • Strong ability to communicate success strategy with Plan Sponsors (Owner, CFO, HR Directors etc.) and promote value add of EQH platform.
  • Understanding of employee benefits and non-qualified plans.
  • Familiarity with defined contribution recordkeeping systems.
  • Efficient territory management (travel required).
  • Extensive knowledge of qualified retirement plans – rules, regulations, industry trends.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to increase plan sponsor and participant engagement with EQH platform.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Financial Services Industry: Knowledge of financial services industry trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations and trendsetters; ability to provide specific financial advice to clients.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
