Summary

Responsible for supervising and delivering training system activities on the USAF E-3 AWACS DRAGON Flight Simulator program. Coordinates software, database, cybersecurity, configuration management, and engineering support activities to ensure compliance with regulations and customer contracts, maintaining high quality standards. Develops and communicates a clear, customer-centric vision and fosters strong customer relationships.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage software support staff and ensure software deliveries meet customer requirements.
  • Set goals, provide feedback, prioritize projects, and ensure timely, high-quality outputs.
  • Prepare agendas and meetings in accordance with contract requirements.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of people/project management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, self-driven, results-focused.
  • Experience with aircraft simulator training devices maintenance and qualification.
  • U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance and work in a SCIF.

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent organization and planning skills, ability to follow through.
  • Background in flight training systems, simulators, and software testing.
  • Availability outside normal hours.

Security Responsibilities

Adhere to all security and data policies, handle information properly, and maintain eligibility for DoD security clearance.

Work Environment

Operate in a professional office within a U.S. government SCIF, with restrictions on personal devices.

Physical Demands

  • Sit for extended periods, climb stairs to access simulators.
