Implement annual strategic plans and oversee department budgets to accomplish objectives. Maintain control over departmental expenditures vs. budget.
Direct daily Branch Operations and business development activities in a manner that provides quality service to current members as well as potential members.
Remain current on changes within the legal, regulatory, economic competitive and technology environments which may affect the credit union's operations. Ensure procedures are in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
Establish, maintain, and monitor internal controls as well as policies and procedures. Read, interpret, review, and comply with all Federal and State legislation as well as internal policies and procedures.
Direct responsibility for supervisory functions including hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and policies for department personnel. Work closely with Human Resources department on employee actions and conduct all personnel functions in accordance with applicable statutes.
Maintain organizational structure. Organize subordinate personnel into effective, efficient work groups. Ensure that direct reports are granted proper authority and responsibility to carry out assigned functions. Review work systems to reduce duplication of effort and unnecessary work.
Direct and participate in public and community relations activities to promote the credit union. Serve as a liaison with internal and external communities.
Conduct financial analysis of services designed to maximize profits and broaden services. Prepare recommendations with regard to changes in or adjustments of services for analysis and action.
Develop, coordinate with marketing function, recommend and implement new and enhanced programs.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with branch employees. Provide coaching support to employees to assist them in achieving higher productivity levels and in preparing them for future employment opportunities within the credit union.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Develop objectives for direct reports consistent with strategic and operating plans, monitor progress toward achievement of objectives, and engage in regular conversations with direct reports on progress toward objectives.
Provide leadership, direction, guidance, and coaching, performance evaluations, training, and motivation, to branch management to ensure they are equipped to direct, guide, and coach their respective employees to meet and exceed the Credit Union's service standards, achieve performance goals, and ensure superior member service.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
Minimum 5 years' experience in a financial institution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working with credit union core systems.
Excellent member service focus.
Excellent leadership skills including coaching and mentoring of staff
Ability to organize and prioritize work and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
