Job Details

This individual will be responsible for directing and coordinating sales activity in the region with independent area sales managers, representatives, and distributors. They will develop project-specific sales strategies and communicate project requirements to the company's manufacturing operations, construction divisions, and management team.

The individual will oversee a team of sales managers supporting the territory and customer coverage.

Essential Functions:

• Initiate regional sales calls and training seminars with area distributors and representatives.
• Develop project- and customer-specific sales and profitability strategies.
• Instruct distributors, representatives, contractors, and customers on product applications.
• Visit customer facilities and construction sites to monitor project progress and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in trade shows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Material Science, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or an equivalent technical degree.
• 10 years of Oil and Gas sales management experience.
• Experience managing independent representatives and distributors.
• Ability to work independently in a home-based office.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including group presentations in seminars.
• Significant domestic travel required.
• Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Valid US driver's license and safe driving history.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical knowledge or experience with FRP composites or thermoplastic-lined FRP composites in industrial applications.
• 4-6 years of experience in the piping industry, specifically with fiberglass piping or spoolable pipe.
• MBA or military officer experience.
