The Project Manager Staff is responsible for producing results and leading a team that will handle moderate to large projects with a focus on safety, efficiency and profit. Preparing, reviewing and approving RFPs, evaluations, and contractor selection are keys to success in this role!
As a member of the Project Development team, you will lead initiatives and deliver impactful results that drive the advancement of New Energy Ventures Power Innovation projects. Your focus will center on emerging technologies such as post-combustion carbon capture at scale, simple and combined cycle gas turbine generators, fuel cells, energy storage systems including BESS, flywheels, and super capacitors. You will also explore fuel cell applications for air permit-restricted projects and support power generation initiatives behind the meter across multiple geographic locations and customer bases.
In your role, you will actively engage with external partnersincluding turbine suppliers, engineering firms, and technology providersto evaluate and determine the most effective solutions for CO? capture and reduction in Williams' power projects. These collaborations will include organizations such as Burns and McDonnell for engineering support, and technology providers like ION, Shell/Cansolv, Caterpillar/Solar, and Bloom for CO? capture associated with fuel cells, among others.
Internally, you will collaborate with staff, commercial project leads, and customers to assess and present solutions and findings. This work will be iterative and will demand a high level of technical expertise, as well as strong commercial and project management skills.
