About the job Cybersecurity Engineer

Overview: A Tulsa-based client is seeking a seasoned DevOps/CyberSecurity Engineer to lead the automation and deployment of secure, scalable hybrid infrastructure systems. This on-premises opportunity offers the opportunity to drive CI/CD excellence, streamline development workflows, and collaborate across dynamic teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines for static and dynamic code deployment using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes across hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud)
• Design and manage Linux-based servers and containerized applications
• Implement and optimize SDLC practices across infrastructure and development teams
• Administer NetApp storage and related file systems
• Leverage Ansible and other automation tools to reduce manual overhead
• Monitor infrastructure performance and security using Datadog, Wazuh IDS, and other analytics tools
• Enforce security protocols and compliance standards across systems
• Support networking components, including firewalls, switches, and services (e.g., Cloudflare)

• Build resilient, scalable, and highly available systems with automated deployment workflows
• Lead infrastructure architecture changes aligned with SDLC and DevOps best practices
• Troubleshoot CI/CD and infrastructure issues and drive resolution initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with development goals
• Mentor peers on DevOps principles and automation strategies
• Participate in on-call rotation and support production environments

• 5+ years in Linux systems administration with a strong DevOps and automation focus
• Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience with code build, test, and deployment automation (static and dynamic)
• Deep understanding of SDLC and its application in infrastructure and deployment workflows
• Familiarity with tools/protocols such as Apache, MySQL, Docker, SSH, DNS, and SMTP
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl, PHP, etc.)
• Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools
• Strong networking knowledge: OSI model, VLANs, NAT, firewalls, etc.
• Clear communicator and critical thinker who thrives in both independent and collaborative settings
• Passion for continuous improvement, automation, and secure infrastructure design
