As Manager of Asset Procedures and Standards, you lead the creation and governance of enterprise-wide content that ensures clarity, consistency, and compliance across all business functions. You drive operational excellence by managing document workflows, systems, and standards that support safe, informed decision-making. You collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and HSEI teams to enforce governance protocols and reduce risk. You promote a culture of accountability by equipping teams with training, visual tools, and clear procedures aligned with safety and performance goals. Your leadership ensures content strategy supports business objectives and integrates with broader knowledge management efforts.

Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Lead the content management team who are responsible for enterprise content lifecycle, including document creation, maintenance, and governance
  • Coordinate and support the development of new documents by collaborating with process owners, ensuring editorial consistency, and maintaining compliance across all content
  • Manage the full lifecycle of documents by implementing change and variance processes, tracking revision metrics, and overseeing archival and retention policies
  • Oversee the content management platform by coordinating system enhancements with IT, managing user access and training, and serving as the primary business owner
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for operations, maintenance, safety, and environmental procedures, providing guidance and technical leadership across functional teams
  • Enforce governance standards to ensure content accuracy and compliance, partnering with Legal, Compliance, and HSEI while promoting engagement through training and visual tools
  • Align content strategy with business goals by simplifying materials, collaborating with stakeholders, and integrating with knowledge management efforts
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field and a minimum of six (6) years experience in the oil or natural gas industry
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the midstream oil and gas industry

Other Requirements:

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills while making safety the top priority
  • Applies proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills to support daily tasks
  • Understands governance and policy requirements to ensure compliance
  • Applies knowledge of process and workflow design to improve operational efficiency
  • Navigates systems and tools with fluency to support technical and administrative functions
  • Leads with strong collaboration and team-oriented leadership to drive performance and shared success
