Juniper, the farm-to-table Justin Thompson Restaurant Group concept, is looking for a Full-Time dishwasher.

Summary of Position:

Properly clean, maintain, and organize all dishes, flatware, cups, utensils, pans, and equipment in the kitchen. The dishwasher is the backbone of the restaurant, and they must possess excellent organization skills. Ability to maintain proper, consistent levels of cleanliness of all items in kitchen. Must be able to work quickly, efficiently, and cleanly.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Follow all JTR Group policies and procedures

Arrive promptly and in proper attire, ready for work

Clean all dishes going through dish pit

Organize flatware and glassware in proper racks

Maintain organization of all equipment, plates, flatware, glasses, pans, etc. in kitchen

Identify broken or chipped wares and discard properly

Maintain a clean and sanitary work space at all times

Properly dispose of all leftover food in trash can

Keep sinks, traps, and screens free of food debris

Clean and maintain dish machine

Properly breakdown dish machine at night and clean thoroughly, making sure to remove any and all grease buildup

Maintain proper levels of sanitizer, detergent, and rinse aid chemicals for proper function of machine

Notify manager of any issues related to cleanliness of dishes, machine, or organization of kitchen

Properly dispose of all trash, recyclables, and waste water

All other tasks/duties assigned

Qualifications:

Be able to communicate respectfully and honestly with others, including all staff.

Have a valid Tulsa Food Handler's Permit

Have the ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, up to 8 hours

Have the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

Be able to lift up to 50 pounds above your head
