SUMMARY

The Shipping Associate I supports the daily operations of the shipping department by ensuring accurate and timely preparation, packaging, and dispatch of products. This role involves coordinating with carriers, maintaining shipping records, assisting with inventory tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The Shipping Associate I works closely with team members to maintain smooth logistics operations while prioritizing attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and sort pick tickets for next-day operations.
  • Assemble shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), labels, and packing lists.
  • Maintain organized records of outgoing shipments.
  • Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Pull product from inventory to fill orders.
  • Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to locate products and resolve shipment discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety guidelines.
  • Follow detailed instructions and perform tasks accurately.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Learn and retain new processes and department guidelines.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, productivity, and follow-through.
  • Complete additional tasks as requested by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to differentiate colors, read labels, and detect product damage.
