Cheever's Cafe, an iconic Oklahoma City institution, has been proudly serving the Tulsa community since December 2024. We're continuing to grow our team as we bring our beloved menu, warm atmosphere, and signature hospitality to new guests. We are looking for Hosts, Servers and Bartenders that are passionate individuals who aspire to create enduring memories and lasting relationships through a dedication to executional excellence, intentional service, extreme hospitality, and culinary trust.

Host:

As the first and last face guests see, our hosts create warm welcomes and fond farewells. This position is ideal for someone upbeat, organized, and quick on their feet. You'll coordinate seating and make sure the dining room runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet every guest with warmth and a smile
• Answer phone calls and manage reservations in OpenTable
• Provide accurate wait times and handle special seating requests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand
• Assist with bussing or drink service if needed
• Thank guests upon departure and invite them back

Requirements:

• Must be 21+
• No experience required - we'll train the right person!
• Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours
• Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
• Friendly and calm under pressure

Server:

As a server, you're the heartbeat of the dining room. We're looking for someone who is confident, knowledgeable, and committed to hospitality. Your role is to guide guests through their experience - from warm greetings to menu suggestions to ensuring every bite and sip is just right.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide gracious and timely service
• Have strong knowledge of the menu, daily features, and drink offerings
• Take accurate orders and enter them efficiently into the POS
• Assist guests with dietary needs or questions
• Ensure tables are well-maintained throughout the meal
• Handle payment transactions

Requirements:

• Must be 21+
• Prior serving experience preferred
• Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours and lift up to 25 lbs
• Must possess strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit

Bartender:

Prepare and serve the highest quality beverages to guests either directly at the bar top or through wait staff. Provide timely, accurate, and friendly service while upholding A Good Egg Dining Group's mission to positively impact lives by building enduring memories and multi-generational relationships through a dedication to executional excellence, intentional service, extreme hospitality, and culinary trust.

Key Responsibilities:

• Present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beer, spirits and wine.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant's standard drink recipes.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests and ensure 100% accuracy when entering orders into the POS system.
• Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests.
• Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks, appetizers for bar patrons.
• Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Possess an above average to excellent knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and common drink recipes.
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
