Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Refrigeration Technician will specialize in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems. Working primarily as a solo technician, this role involves local travel to client sites where the technician uses a variety of standard hand tools and digital diagnostic tools to ensure optimal system performance. There are opportunities for growth into supervisory roles or training and mentoring positions within the organization.Responsibilities* Install commercial refrigeration systems according to specifications* Perform routine maintenance to prevent system failures* Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using digital diagnostic tools* Repair or replace faulty refrigeration parts and components* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulationsPreferred Qualifications* 2+ years' experience in refrigeration technology* Proficiency in refrigeration system diagnostics* Knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical repair* EPA certified in refrigerant handling* Skill in preventive maintenance practices* Strong customer service and time management skills* Effective problem-solving capabilities
