COMPENSATION $162,000 OTE ($110-130,000 base + bonus) Excellent insurance coverage/benefits Strong career growth & internal promotions SUMMARY The Director of Airport Operations is responsible for leading and overseeing multi-unit food, beverage, and retail operations within a high-volume airport environment. This role drives financial performance, operational excellence, and exceptional guest experiences while fostering a strong organizational culture and developing future leaders. The position partners closely with senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives, ensure compliance with operational standards, and maintain strong stakeholder and client relationships. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead day-to-day operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistent execution of service, brand, and operational standards Drive financial performance by managing budgets, controlling costs, and achieving or exceeding revenue and profitability targets Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experience, employee engagement, and overall operational efficiency Build, mentor, and develop high-performing leadership teams; create succession plans and leadership pipelines Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, regulatory, and brand standards across all units Maintain strong relationships with airport authorities, business partners, and internal stakeholders Monitor and improve key performance indicators including sales, labor, turnover, and guest satisfaction Oversee workforce planning, scheduling, and payroll to ensure efficiency and compliance Partner with cross-functional teams including Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and Operations to support business objectives Lead employee relations efforts, including performance management, conflict resolution, and retention initiatives Serve as a visible, hands-on leader within operations, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence Ensure compliance with all airport security and badging requirements Represent the organization in public relations or stakeholder engagements as needed QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred 7+ years of senior leadership experience in multi-unit F&B or retail operations Demonstrated experience overseeing large-scale operations (15+ locations or equivalent complexity) Airport Operations experience mandatory Proven track record of managing high-volume, multi-million-dollar operations Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis Exceptional leadership and team development capabilities Ability to drive culture, engagement, and organizational performance Strong stakeholder and client relationship management skills Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business systems EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 5 - 10 years Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: Yes
